When we looked into the possibility of producing a web page that offers do it yourself information, we came too, two problems. The first is the difficulty in relaying information clearly and intelligibly in way of the written word. The second is to develop the information and layout on a level that "most" could understand and use. The layout of choice "the flow chart" is what we have chosen as the answer. If you are not electrically, mechanically inclined, or are just not sure of your abilities, DO NOT proceed!!
Please !!!! when you are ask to take an appliance apart take every precaution both electrically and mechanically to protect yourself from danger. Always disconnect the power to the unit. When asked to take electrical readings, Please understand that you are responsible for your own safety, and Gracie Appliance, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. or any representation thereof cannot be held liable for any personal and/or commutative damage! By proceeding into the D.I.Y area, you are "agreeing" to the conditions above, and resolving Gracie Appliance, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. of any and all responsibility/liability for your safety, and the safty of others.
